SANETHUB Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
1. Introduction
SanetHub aims to handle cancellations, returns and refund requests fairly and transparently.
This policy applies to products and services purchased directly from SanetHub. Where a purchase involves an independent third-party vendor, the vendor’s responsibilities and the applicable transaction terms will also be considered.
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer rights provided by applicable South African law.
2. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email hello@sanethub.co.za.
Please include:
– Your name and contact details.
– Your order number or payment reference.
– The product or service purchased.
– The reason for your request.
– Relevant photographs, screenshots or other supporting information, where applicable.
We will review the request and contact you if further information is required.
3. Physical products
For physical products sold by SanetHub, customers should check their order upon delivery and report any incorrect, damaged, defective or missing items as soon as reasonably possible.
Where a product is defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or otherwise qualifies for a remedy under applicable law, we will assess the matter and provide the legally required remedy, which may include a repair, replacement or refund.
Returns should be arranged with SanetHub before an item is sent back, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Where a return is approved, we will communicate the return arrangements and who is responsible for the return costs.
Nothing in this policy excludes statutory rights relating to defective goods or other legally protected return rights.
4. Live animals and agricultural products
For live animals, including rabbits, customers should contact us promptly if an animal arrives injured, seriously unwell or materially different from what was agreed.
We will assess the circumstances and applicable legal requirements before determining an appropriate remedy.
For vegetables, seedlings and other perishable agricultural products, customers should report quality or delivery problems as soon as possible and provide photographs where practical.
Special handling requirements do not remove any consumer rights that apply by law.
5. Digital products
Digital products may include downloadable materials, online resources or other digital content.
If a digital product is faulty, inaccessible, materially different from its description or not supplied as agreed, please contact us so we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.
Cancellation rights for digital content can depend on the nature of the product, when supply begins, the terms agreed and applicable law. We will not rely on a blanket exclusion of refunds where the law provides a right to cancel or obtain a remedy.
6. Website development and digital services
Website packages and development services may involve planning, design, development, hosting, domains and other agreed deliverables.
Customers should review the agreed scope, price, milestones and recurring charges before approving work.
If a customer wishes to cancel a project, the customer should contact SanetHub in writing. We will review the stage of work completed, any agreed cancellation terms and the applicable legal requirements.
Where work has not started, a refund may be appropriate depending on the agreement and applicable law. Where work has started or deliverables have been supplied, any refund will be assessed against the work performed, the agreement and the customer’s legal rights.
This section does not remove any statutory cancellation or refund rights.
7. Premium listings and subscriptions
Customers purchasing premium listings or recurring services should review the price, subscription period, renewal terms and cancellation process before purchase.
Requests to cancel future renewals should be sent to hello@sanethub.co.za or completed through an available account cancellation feature.
Cancellation of a future renewal does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund for a period already supplied. Any refund will depend on the agreed terms and applicable law.
Where a service has not been supplied as agreed, we will investigate and provide any remedy required.
8. Third-party vendors and service providers
Where an order is fulfilled by an independent vendor or a service is provided by a third party, customers should report the issue to SanetHub and, where appropriate, the vendor.
We will help direct the complaint to the responsible party and facilitate communication where reasonably possible.
Responsibility for approving and paying a refund depends on who supplied the product or service, who received the payment, the applicable agreement and the relevant law.
SanetHub will not promise to refund money it does not control, but we will assist with the appropriate process.
9. Food delivery and ride requests
For food delivery, transport and ride requests, customers should report cancellations, non-delivery, incorrect orders or service problems as soon as possible.
Refund eligibility depends on the service arrangement, the timing of the cancellation, whether the service has commenced or been completed, and applicable law.
We will review each complaint and communicate the outcome.
10. Refund processing
Once a refund is approved, it will normally be processed through the original payment method where supported by the payment provider.
The time required for the funds to reflect may depend on the payment provider and the customer’s bank. We will communicate any relevant processing information.
Where the law specifies a refund deadline, that deadline will apply.
11. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, reply to our correspondence or email hello@sanethub.co.za with your order reference and reasons for requesting a review.
We will reassess the matter and respond as reasonably practicable.
